Yes, but it is a bit too big for gopro. This is more suitable for about 500gram cameras, gopro is under 100grams. But if you consider using larger cameras later then it is a good choice.

No, that Gimbal stabiliser is for use with servos, NOT brushless motors!!! There are only few places with Brushless motor gimbal stabilisers.
