The set I have received has no signal wire from the receiver, only a black and red cable... So no light changes with one receiver stick!
I removed the casing, installed a regular servo cable with 3 wires ( ,- and signal). I removed the small smd resistor 1k located between pin 4 of the microchip and ground, then soldered it between signal input and the same pin 4 of the microprocessor (copper pads are present!). And that works fine now: leds change when the channel stick is moved right-center-left or top-center-down !
Hope this helps the new buyers for modifying the set, if they are used to handle a 10watts tiny soldering iron.
