These SK50 engines are one of the best sport engines you can buy. They are suitable for new flyers and those with years of flying behind them. They are easy to tune and they just keep on going for many years, I own four SK50s and am sorry to see they are no longer available.

My SK50 arrived quickly in New Zealand, and was well packed. There are no instructions. It has very clean castings. The throttle barrel fits well and turns smoothly, and the ventury is not oversize (like some) Removal of the backplate revealed good machining, bronze bushed conrod, no swarf and well oiled. The glowplug thread has a brass insert. Piston ABC "pinch" is about right.I fitted an OS no8 glowplug. Started on the first touch of the starter, and showed no signs of stress went flying after 10 minutes running. Idle mixture screw was factory set close to best. A strong running sport engine. Longevity? time will tell.

got mine today, looks very promising, will install it in a soprano plane. i like the fact that its a fifty and the size is similar to a thundertiger pro 40..

Seagull Low Wing 40 modelimde 11x8 pervane ile kullanmaktayim.
Alirken cok tereddut ettim. Bilincli rodaj sonrası yarim galonada kadar biraz karin agritabiliyor.
Yeni modelim Tucano 40 tada bunu kullanacagim. Paraya kiyar ve patlarlilar konusunda tecrubeniz yok ise OS Max 55AX, param cebimde kalsin, motordan anlarim derseniz kesinlikle SK50 yi oneririm.

şansmıdır bilmem ama benim aldığım bu motor mükemmel çıktı.
ancak yakıtı  nitrolu kullanıyorum.(hatta bundan sonra  nitro lu kullanacağım) 3.5 kg lık süper decathlonuma taktım.aslında 60 lığını(varsa) alsaymışım süper olurmuş.
tavsiye ediyorum.bu fiyatı ile iki-3 yıl kullan sonra at için yanmaz diye düşünüyorum.

Gr8 engine. Started in 2-3 flicks on the test bench. revs well and comfortably. Will mount it on my model and fly next weekend.

I have bought 3 of them until today. It is starting very easily and has very good power. I am runnnig SK50 with Pitts Muffler, which is also has a good price. In this price and performence, I recommend this engine everybody.

i so to be pleased this engines because i yet unrained a r/c pilot besides always crash my trainer but now many strong my SK engine thanks.
