This edf gives good thrust but the way the motor is mounted isn't good. iput it in a 33in ws scratch built fantrainer and i had a couple of good flights but the motor gets real hot.my motor loosened up a couple of times. It was so hot that the motor melted the mount and cocked to the side and the impeller rubbed the side. the windings rub the front plate and broke a wind. It still has power. I used a 11.1 2200mah 20c lipo. If you plan on purchasing this unit,disassemble it put a small spacers between the stator and front plate then locktite the back mount nut. I threw away unit and kept motor, put a 4.1x4.1 prop on it and it screams. Gonna put it on a 25in wing. This motor looks like a blue wonder w/ a double stator.

It is one of the easily Useable EDF,and it gives same power [Thrust] as mention on site.
