The Two-way Radio System developed by FrSky provides an additional return link that would be used for monitoring the Rx’s voltage, temperature, location, speed and so on.

Function of Two Way communication
a) Two way communication between receiver and transmitter
b) Receiver is able to accept 2 analog inputs, which can be used to monitor battery voltage, temperature sensor, etc., and transfer them to transmitter. Users can set the Alarm Level of these analog voltages, when exceed or below these levers, sound alarm is issued.
c) Receiver is able to accept serial data streams from simple 3-wire RS232 port, such information as GPS, altitude, and user developed data can be transferred to Tx without error, and sent at the RS232 port on the Tx.

Grade: I purchase this Unit (FrSky Telemetry combo for Futaba) to put then in my Hitec Aurora 9 (doing some modification obviously) and it is working perfect, to get this install I did not even need to open the Aurora 9 it was so simple that I could not believed. I been using the JR FrSky (normal w/o telemetry) on my Turnigy 9X also and is been very very reliable also. Very happy with this module. Highly recommended.

I bought this telemetry module and the other single V8 module with receivers. Notice that you could not mix the receivers version D8 and V8 with one transmitter module. A D8 telemetry transmitter module only bind with a telemetry receiver and the single way transmitter module V8 only binds to a V8 single receiver -- Feb 26 2011 by b****n441227
