USER MENU FOR FGDZ 100 Series ESC

I.SETUP:
YOU CAN SAVE TWO SETS OF YOUR PERSONAL FAVORITE SETTING and SETUP YOUR OWN BATTERY PROTECTION VALUE!!!

1.Connect the ESC with receiver, connect the power; Press the SETUP button and then, turn the power ON;
*(LED1 is a red light, LED2 is green light)
1.1. LED1 on, release the button and now, the ESC is in SETUP MEMORY POSITION I.
1.2.If the button press time over 2 seconds, LED1 off and LED2 on, release the button and the ESC is in SETUP MEMORY POSITION II.
1.3 If the button press time over 5 seconds, both LED1 and LED2 are on, release the button and ESC is in BATTERY PROECTION SETUP MEMORY POSITION.( IMPORTANT: WHEN YOU IN SETUP MODEL, PLEASE USE FULL CHARGED BATTERY)

II. Inside SETUP MEMORY MODEL:(POSITION I OR II)
A. Plane Model setup
a. Press button and release, LED1 and LED2 are ON.
b. Turn on the remote controller, push the oil control handspike on top and then bottom.
c. Place the oil control handspike to top, or bottom; press the setup button and release, exit the SETUP MOEDL and now, you've saved your config.
d. If you want to use different battery set, you have to re-setup.
For example: If you replace the 7.2v battery set with a 8.4v battery set. You have to setup the battery protection value.
Remark: If you need a brake function, you have to do step ''c'' as following: when you push the handspike to top (or bottom), return back down (or up) a little bit as you need, press the SETUP button and release, now you exit the setup model and can enjoy enjoy your flight.

B. Car/ Boat Model setup
a. Press setup button and release, LED1 and LED2 are ON.
b. Turn on the remote controller, push the oil control handspike on top and then bottom.
c. Place the handspike in the middle position, press the button and release, now you've exited the setup model and can enjoy your model.
PS: middle position is the car or boat stop position, you can set this position as you like in this step.
d. If you change the battery with different voltage set, you have to re-setup.

3. Battery Protection Model (BPM)Setup.
After you into the BPM:
3.1. Press setup button and release, LED1 is ON, LED2 is OFF, INPUT VOLTAGE to 9.6V by using a adjustable voltage source.
3.2. When voltage is stable, press the button again, LED1 is OFF, LED2 is ON, now you can adjust the voltage to 6.4v (protection voltage for a single battery is 0.8v, so 0.8x8=6.4V)
3.3. When the voltage is stable, press the button and release again, setup finished, turn off the power.
(Remark: 0.8v is a default value for a single battery, if you want to change this value as your need such as 0.9v for a single battery, just change voltage from step 2:0.9x8=7.2v; If you just need 5V as your Battery Protection value, no matter how many batteries in your battery set. Set the voltage to 10v in this step.)
II.PLAY MODEL CHOOSE:
Since ESC have two memory positions I & II. You can choose as your need, follow the steps:
Connect the power source, press the SETUP button and then turn the power ON;
1. when LED1 ON, release the button, you are in POSITION I. or
2. When LED2 ON, release the button, you are in POSITION 3. Turn the power OFF and ON again, you can use the configuration you've saved in POSITION II.
III.Usage:
Connect power source, turn it ON
1. LED1&LED2 all ON, you can use it now.
2. LED1&LED2 flash in turn, means that the remote control is not ON, please turn it ON.
3. LED1&LED2 flash quickly at the same time, means that the input voltage is over 19.2V, please replace the battery which the voltage lower than 19.2V.
4. LED1&LED2 flash slowly at the same time, means that the BATTERY PROTECTION MODEL is activated.Replace the battery or, the voltage protection value you've set before is too high.
5. WHEN IN USE:
5.1. Plane Model: Just put the Joystick to top or bottom and you can activate the ESC.
a. LED1&LED2 all ON, means that motor is in STOP status or, joystick is in lower position.
b. LED1 is ON, LED2 is OFF, means that motor and ESC are in working status.
5.2. Car, Boat Model: Put the oil joystick in middle position and you can activate the ESC.
a. LED1&LED2 are ON, means that motor is in stop status.
b. LED1 is ON, LED2 is OFF, means it's in Forward status; LED1 is OFF, LED2 is ON, means it's in backward status.
