After a lot of 'el cheapo' ESC's I wanted something better and got the ICE 150 with the prog card.
The manual of the progcard is really confusing, I had to get the original Sunrise manual to be able to use the card.
Himodel needs to review the manual asap!

The ESC manual was not much better for a first timer with a 'sophisticated' ESC like me, it took me two days to get the ESC working, the manual is rubbish.

If I had spotted the 3 sec signal cut-off before purchase, I'd bought another brand, this signal loss, cut-off is very bad news when you're running in competition and your boat is slow to recover after a flip...

You get what you payed!!Your Review was NOT helpfull!!ALL other ESC from named Constructors make the same(only cooling 1 Layer not all!!)See Kontronic or CC but you must pay 150 for 80A(with same inside!!)

After testing I have found these to be a VERY solid very Smooth controller.

I would like to take my previous comments back regarding the heat sinks. It appears to run fine without having tons of water cooling plates.
I did have it quit on me after getting wet but, after drying it out it worked the next day fine. I guess they could use some more waterproofing.
I will add more cooling and waterproofing to them and they will be fine!!

Not very impressed. With all 'New' esc's to come out I take off shrink wrap to see good or bad.
This esc has good intentions but, comes up short.
The top heat sink is thick and impressive.
This is a 3 layer construction with the bottom board for control and the 2 top boards are FET power boards.
Why the heck did they only put cooling on the top FET board??!!
This is useless unless it is some "new" design (not quite!)

The FET boards are very thick @ 2mm thick approx. but, wth? No heat sink for the middle board?? This will burn up on 150 amps.

I will use these 2 I bought for low amp fun boats...

Oh well... 2 stars for effort!! Now how to get a cooling plate the right thickness in between....????
