Note:

1. This EDF can be powered by both brushless and brushed motors, but the motor shaft adaptors are differnt for brushless motors and brushed motors.
2. DO NOT use brushed motor adaptor for brushless motor, vice versa.
3. To ensure the best thrust output, special attention must be given to the power centeral line when assemble .
4. It can be dangerous when testing the EDF:
①DO NOT stand in front of nor tangent face of the blades.
②DO fix the EDF before power on, DO NOT hold by hands when testing.

Grade:

Did further testing of the 55xH42 fan.
With 4S 1000mah 25C and a 30A Esc I measured ~28A
with a "Watts Up" ampermeter at full throttle.

Grade:

Tested the dia 55xH42 (03-100P) with 4S 1000mah 25C
with a 30A ESC it worked over 600grams of thrust.
ESC and motor warm but not overheated. Will work
with careful throttle management. Full throttle only
for short burst. Will try 4S 850mah to save weight.

So far I have only done a simple static test and am pleased with result compared with some other edfs:

BATTERY: 11.1 3S 1500mAh 25-30C
ESC: 30A Mystery
RESULT
THRUST STATIC: approx 400gms , full power 10 secs.
Every thing mildly warm.
THEREFORE: 18A ESC to be tested.

2nd short test:...
BATTERIES IN SERIES: 2x 2S 1000mA 7.4 25C in SERIES making 4S
Using same 30A esc.
RESULT
THRUST: 600gms for 5 secs. BUT
Esc got HOT motor just hot. Not a good combo.

Overall; a very good power to weight ratio EDF but must keep weight down on aircraft (200gms aprox) and use high 30C battery. Food for thought: try 2 of these in a jet.

Comment: I like the efficient 6 blades with broad tips which push air readily. Best EDF I have for its size.
