1. It is normal that the elevator may move suddenly at the moment that the GPS signal becomes locked from unlocked status, or while the GPS status is changing. 2. To analyze if irregular movements of elevator is caused by product defective or GPS status changing, you need to test it under "manual" mode, then see if there is sudden movements. Do NOT test it under PA or RTH modes. 3. In PA & RTH modes, in the circumstance that GPS locked, then the elevator is auto-controlled even the control range is very small, but in the circumstance that GPS is not locked, as the device can not determine the altitude so the elevator is not auto-controlled, for safety, it is a good choice not to hook the elevator but control elevator channel manually if you prefer. 4. Gyro calibration: It needs to recalibrate when it is used for the first time（very important！！！） or it is placed for a long time, during calibration, OSD main board must be placed horizontally, and strictly remains still！！！

Grade: Yes, the Cyclops Storm will display MPH, but remember this will only be 'ground speed' as measured by the onboard GPS not airspeed, so you for example you could be flying at 60MPH airspeed into a 30MPH head wind, but the display would only show 30MPH groundspeed.
This is something new users need to be aware of, as more than a few new FPV'ers have been caught out, thinking they can fly for 50% of the capacity of their battery, then turn round to return home. If they have been flying 'with' the wind, they will cover much greater distance than they will if the return journey is into a head wind.... result battery expires before they get back to base = lost plane.... so keep an eye on your speed :)

Max input is 3s is that correct or does the power solution 2 get around this - allowing for bigger input bypassed the OSD - leaving just the osd to run on a separate 3s

You can use a 4S lipo for the motor, the osd requires it then be powered by a separate 3S lipo as in solution 2, You remove the jumper and connect the 3s to the pins where the jumper was. (MAKE SURE YOU CONNECT THE 3S CORRECTLY TO THE PINS.) -- Dec 28 2013 by tjshobbies

Grade: Received this OSD recently and I must say - I am very happy with it. Almost all information that I need are there for a very good price. I received Ver. 1.03 and updated the firmware to 1.1 - now with artificial horizon and other new information on the display. Just ordered a second one. Worth the money for sure. I heard that also waypoint could be an option for a next firmware release - but not sure. Only thing I would like to see is the number of satellites as a figure instead of bars. Grade: the previous version had a problem when you placed them on delta wing planes: likr the flying wing. the auto leveling and hence RTH would not work properly.
