As the shippers are beyond of our control, also to make our prices as low as possible, when set the prices, we do not allow for unforeseen costs like parcel losing or damages during delivery, so we will assume no responsibility in case of parcel lost or damage, but we can do our best to assist you and on your behalf to claim to the shippers, and will pass whatever compensation we can get from the shippers to you, and our responsibility also limited to the extent of the shippers may compensate us.
Some shipping methods may take a very long time during delivery, like China Post (small) air parcel services, as this service is carried out jointly by many countries and world organizations, also they do not have a online tracing system, so it takes a very long time for them to conclude a parcel lost and make a compensation, it may take up to 3-5 months to get compensated since we file a claim, even though the compensation might be very limited and may far lower than the real value of your order. Situation is bit of better for those world famous express shippers like DHL/Fedex/TNT etc., they may confirm a parcel lost or damage within 10-20 days, but the compensation is also very limited, and the maximum compensation is $100USD which clearly show on the back of the air waybill.
For this reason, we strongly recommend you to buy insurance for your orders, and the insurance fee is 1% or $1USD which is higher, you will get full compensation including shipping cost in case of parcel lost, or the actual lose in case of parcel damage. More info on insurance policy. |
